We are proud to once again partner with Thrivent Financial to make a meaningful impact in our community through a Thrivent Action Team service project supporting veterans in need.Throughout the month of June, we will be collecting new items that will be distributed to local hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living centers that serve veteran populations. This special outreach is a joint project between Saint John Lutheran Church of Bellmore- Merrick and St. John’s Early Childhood Center.
As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country, it is especially meaningful to honor and support the brave men and women who have safeguarded our freedoms through their service. We thank our school families and church members for helping us give back to those who have given so much.
Donations may be dropped off at the collection table in the Narthex throughout June or during a special Coffee Hour hosted by the Early Childhood Center on Sunday, June 14th.
